No DSC discount at Dallas Marriott Suites this year

I just got off the phone with Reservations at the Dallas Marriott Suites. There is no discount for DSC attendees this year. The rooms that were $119. + tax last year are $249 + tax this year

. They were kind enough to book me into the Renaissnace @ $152 + tax which is the DSC rate.

I wondered what was going on; I looked on the internet last week and got the same price: $249. I did not book a room.

More than likely due to the yearly birthday parties held for a rambunctious 105 year old booking agent and his rowdy friends.

Ladies, gentleman, and African hunter's...

I called the hotel and also complained about being treated not very kindly...I will speak to a sales manager tomorrow morning... I hope we can all stay there again and rent a room again for a great gettogether..
I will try for a group rate....The mayor is trying to use his political clout...
