So how would one hunt multiple Cape buffalo on one safari? If you wanted to shoot 5, or 6 or 10 Cape buffalo on one hunt how/where can could you do it?
What country, licenses, how many are you limited to etc? Where would be most economical? Trophy sizes are really not relevant buls, cows?

Of course the first thing to come to mind is buying multiple 21 day licenses in the Selous in Tanzania. Three buffalo would be allowed on each license. In Zimbabwe we probably could arrange 18-21 days at a buffalo rate. Two buff bulls at $2500 ea.,two additional cows $1500 each and two more bulls at $7500 each. The best thing to do would be to contact one of our operators and ask what would be the best way to arrange several buffalo. Let me know if you'd like to look into this further.

The above answers cover TANZ. For most other countries you are looking at the folllowing schedule of fees PER BUFFALO:
10-14 days x daily rate (example $1050)
plus trophy fee (example $2500)

Given this, maybe go to Australia on a water buffalo cull hunt instead?

BwanamichOutfitters in Tz that offer additional licenses for only Gov fees are potentially asking for trouble from the Tax man! They will be assessed on income based on a minimum per diem even for those extra licenses. Not a good idea...

scruffyYo, Peter,
Now that got my attention .... What would you dudes charge for a 5 day cow buffalo hunt ??? Maybe shoot one or two ... I'd love the experience but I have no more room in my home for another bull ... or actually even an impala ... (I'm not a great hunter but I went on my first safari in '77) But I would love the experience and have never been closer to Zambia than seeing it across the Zambezi or Lake Kariba ...

Below is our curent 2008 price. At this point in time the only opening we have left in 08 is between Sept 6 and 24th
Cape buffalo COW special - $3950 ea. 5-day plus the arrival day 1x1 or 2x1
The package includes (1 x cape buff cow per hunter)
excludes: specie fee for plains game as taken + rifle permit + charter + dip pack & freight + Livingstone acomm if/as required

----------------------------------------------
At this point in time we are not 100% sure if we would take any 2009 bookings, I will know by the end of September on the 2009 booking status
The main reason for being unsure on 2009 bookings being .......
My brother Alan's private Dendro Park Ranch Zambia is the first property scheduled to be included in a Unique Luxury Southern African Developement Project, which if all goes to plan would start after the 2008 season is finished.
The FULL project Portfolio is called (The Born Free Destinations Club) Wildlife Collection, with 24 equity investment shares to be on offer/sold to interested VIP entreprenuers whom want to become part of this unique investment Club/Project.

BlacktailerJust do like Saeed and buy several 21 day licenses in the Selous then invite your closest friends along to shoot up some of the extra PG as you decimate the buffalo. I will voluteer to be one of the fiends you take along and I'll even video your hunts.

Rhyme of the Sheep Hunter
May fordings never be too deep, And alders not too thick; May rock slides never be too steep And ridges not too slick.
And may your bullets shoot as swell As Fred Bear's arrow's flew; And may your nose work just as well As Jack O'Connor's too.
May winds be never at your tail When stalking down the steep; May bears be never on your trail When packing out your sheep.
May the hundred pounds upon you Not make you break or trip; And may the plane in which you flew Await you at the strip.
