DB BillJust When You Think You've Seen It All !!!!
Even after I saw it I still find it hard to believe.

Dave JamesYep, thats been around for awihle now, but with the last thread on their gunsmithing ability, I wouldn't trust them to mount a scope let alone any thing else
25 February 2004, 18:10
cr500Now all they need to do is chamber the double rifles in 30-378, and maybe a synthetic thumb hole.

25 February 2004, 18:20
500grainsWell, at least it was only on a Krieghoff and not on a fine quality double.
25 February 2004, 18:21
cr500OOOps ,typo , should have read synthetic thumb hole stock.

ForrestBWhy didn't I think of this??? I've got a vintage H&H SXS that I'm going to have threaded for a couple of Cutt's Compensators.

SaeedGentlemen,
This reminds me of the story of a couple of robbers. They broke into a house in England, stole an old H&H side-by-side shotgun, vallued at several thousand pounds, hacked the barrels short, and used it to rob a post office of 50 pounds!?

Mike SmithA waste of a peferfectly good gun.

Definitely no sense of taste or style.

retreeverDB,
I do not care for the brake, but I can attest to the Talbot QR scope base and rings... Have it on my 375 and it worked perfectly..Scope goes right to Zero..Fast and easy removal...A scope can be removed it 3 seconds..

powI like all guns. I just like some a whole lot less than others. This would fall into that category because of the porting, brake, or whatever the heck those holes are.
29 February 2004, 06:02
MacD37I'm speachless,and that doesn't happen often!

29 February 2004, 07:01
AtkinsonGermans technology at their usual best, and Krieghoff has historically lived up to their reputation of gimmicktry, and like the rest of the German gun bean counters, they over engineer everything they touch....They went to the left right after Paul Mauser died...They couldn't improve on anything he did and so they went nutso in the attempt and that has not changed in decades, hell look at the Blazer!....

DB BillJust remember guys this isn't a factory option...it's good old American ingenuity who's doing it...but it just doesn't seem right, does it?
