SaeedLadies and Gentlemen,
I am afraid we did not have much luck with the cats this year. We fed them continuously for almost 3 weeks, and we did see teh tracks of a large lion, but, we never got to see him.
I think we spent most of our time chasing buffalo - my all time favourite game animal - and had very little time left to hunt anything else.
No regrets though, as the buffalo hunting was nothing short of pectacular this year. Although we might have re-written the book on how to hunt buffalo at long range. I am sure glad I had an accurate, scoped rifle for them.
Imagine having an open sighted double! The hunt would have turned into a nightmare in frustration!?

Hugh WSaeed,
An outstanding couple of photos. Give some technical data. Did you take this or Alan? What kind of camera and lens system and range? Gorgeos photos! Love the second one where you can see the fire and determination in her eyes! Hugh

SaeedI think these photos were taken by Horst, using a Nikon D2X with a 28-300mm Tamron lens.

Frank MartinezThe spicy part would be getting ta share of the ribs away from the lady cats.
I love that little 28-300 and use it often. It is small, light and very fast for such a long zoom.
