Overall pretty well done. Not crazy about the first sequence with the woman who shot the giraffe hunting a wildebeest in TX, but to each their own. Good to see Pete Fick on the documentary getting a chance to tell our side of the story.

I saw an interview this morning with the girl who killed the giraffe. Wasn’t impressed.

So how come reporters never question the folks at HSUS or PETA about how many direct dollars they pay for wildlife conservation. Over and over again, in every interview, they are never forced to prove the "facts" they provide or show how much they receive in donations and what percent of those donations end up in anti-poaching or conservation of wild lands. Amazing that only our side has to prove up our statements and the antis never do...

And that's why no one believes the media anymore... bias.

We just watched the CBS show. It's pretty much how we saw things on our trip in 2018. At Thornybush there was plenty of wildlife. We saw the big 5+ in three days and they sustain themselves with trophy hunting as well as non-hunters like us. At Hwange Nat'l park there are so many elephants as an example, they are starving to death and tearing up nearby farmers fields. We saw very little wildlife. Saw two lions a half mile away in three days.

From what I hear, the rains have essentially failed in Bots and Angola, meaning a potentially horrible situation in the coming months for all the animals in Bots as the flood, won’t. Like your experience in Hwange, I hate to think of the damage those hungry elephant will do.

Not surprised that her interviewers were not impartial. They all appeared to be targeting her.
She should have asked what they had for breakfast??
I really liked the Cecil coverage. Might be curious how many lion cubs he may have killed over his life. Better yet the critics should practice feeding these animals by hand and note their tranquility.Most know the animal kingdom is not docile as depicted in the media.

Have you ever noted the difference between a prey animal and a predator (Land based: terrestrial)? Predators and omnivores typically have their eyes on on the front of their heads. Prey animals on the side of their heads so they can watch from the rear.
Where are a humans eyes?
