Man, what a brutal hunt that was. 116 degrees everday and 100 at night, in the Zambesi Valley.
We were all exhausted when the merciful end came, with 4 days left. I recall other guests leaving nearly a week early. Can you imagine? Just too damn hot. October '99. Two good buffalo though. 104 and 110 SCI.

Having studied this page for a number of hours, I came to the conclusion that is about the best buffalo I have ever seen and would pick him over many 50" bulls I have seen, man, what a helmet!! a real prize and I lust for one just like it...but the hunter is one ugly dude! and he is packing a fine rifle, albeit it simply has a funny stock of substances that toasters, can openers and such are made of...mores the shame,
