WinkMozambique Small Arms Survey
The United Nations Development Programme in Maputo is soliciting proposals for two missions in Mozambique: 1) Illicit Small Arms and Light Weapons Survey and 2) Analysis, Development and Evaluation of the National Legislation on Small Arms and Light Weapons in Mozambique.
We should all be concerned about who carries out the two assignments (these are competitive tenders) as well as the results.
Illegal small arms are a plague in Africa but let's hope, as is typically the case, that the legitimate owner/sportsman doesn't become the victim.

WinkCunningham, I don't think there are any articles about this. However, if you would like to obtain copies of the tenders they are available from the the UNDP Procurement Service in Maputo. I can PM to you their address if you want to follow up.
