D HunterD'Arcey Echol's rifles?
Currently UPS has mislayed my 375. It was insured. If it cannot be located I am thinking the insurance money might make a small downpayment on a custom gun. I am unable to find a website for D'Arcey Echols. Does anyone know what models are offered at this time? About what prices today's models are? Also what about waiting time. Thanks. D

D HunterThanks JJ, I was hoping to hear from some members that had recently done some business with him and could give me chapter and verse without having to call him and tie him up talking on the phone when he wants to be working on rifles. Anybody else know the score? Thanks

<allen day>D'Arcy is very busy building rifles. I think he's got some 20 fiberglass-stocked 'Legends' in production at all times, not to mention walnut-stocked 'Classics'. You'd have to ask him, but I think he has 18 months/2 yrs. worth of work in the pipeline right now, including another one for me.
He doesn't just build the rifle and ship it out, as so many of these jay-birds do, but he breaks in the barrel, determines a superbly-accurate premium-bullet hunting load, etc. Nothing is sent out that isn't proven to be accurate and 100% reliable. This is what CUSTOM is all about, especially for a rifle that'll see serious use...........

D HunterAllen do you have ballpark numbers on basic Legend and Classic rifles? I know that his rifles are not inexpensive but are likely worth every cent paid. You can PM me if you are not comfortable posting this on the forums. I know you can add bells and whistles, wood and engraving to the tune of thousands extra. I am just interested in baseline figures. Thanks D
