Re: REAL WORLD EXPERIENCE ONLY--NO BS--ARE BIG BORES BETTER?
Dear Nick,
Your gonna hate me for this but I just sold the 458 whitworth!! It's hopeless, I'm a whore, I'd sell my soul if I got a good 7x57 in the trade, oops!

OK, I'm back with my 416 Rem. and 404 Jefferys and happy as pig in S--t!! but you need'nt fret, I have a brand new Searcy .470 that shoots little tiny groups and this gun will forever be my sidekick, Like Tonto and the Lone Ranger...We are together forever...

Hi Shakari
Re your comments about the state of the heart at the time of impact (i.e. full or empty - systole or diastole) - as a doctor I am certain it has a significant effect, but also whether it is the thick walled ventricle (which tends to seal up)or thin walled atrium (which will bleed more profusely). I'm sure Peter Robertson (Doctari)has written to this effect too. These sorts of variables help explain the huge range of response that we observe in he field.
