bobby7321Anyone try Fjallraven clothing in the field?
Came across them a while back while looking for a new jacket. Saw that they made some pretty good quality stuff from what I could tell.
http://www.fjallraven.us/collections/tops-shirts/mensthen recently I saw some of their Keb Lite shirts on sale and picked up a few. they seem very well made, material feels strong yet light, and has a few ventilation openings. Good deal right now on them here

just curious if anyone had used any of their gear before.

lavacaSorry, but I'm not going to pay $100 for a shirt that gets sweated up, torn by thorns, blood on it, washed in river water and ironed with a cast iron iron with coals inside.

Rick O'ShayFjallraven has always made good products. The stuff I grew up with in the seventies and eighties is, and was, a bit granola though.
Nowadays they're quite into the high-tech fabrics and coatings. I think they have their own version of Goretex called G-2000 or X-2000 or something like that.
Despite having a bit of an aversion to man-made materials, I have a few current fjallraven products and I like them. They are probably better suited for a European or north American climate than sub-Saharan Africa.
Some of the other Swedish or possibly Norwegian members can probably weigh in as well
