dogcatCChunter,
How in the world did you dig up this old post from Sept 2004? You must be doing some serious archive archealogy.

cchunterSince Head Trauma registered for the AR dinner I looked around to see who he was and found this, and since I had something to offer I thought I give it a shot.
Usally when I meet new people here I take some time to see what they posted on before

But instead of asking how I find my posts tell me what you think about my art

bwanamrmTry a google search for the artwork of Brian Jarvi, John Banovich, Daniel Smith and Kobus Moeller. I think you will like what you find.
On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.

Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch...
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

cjwIf you are looking for photographs, I have a few images at
http://www.pbase.com/cjw. They can be printed almost any size. My son asked for a framed 16x20 of this one for Christmas
http://www.pbase.com/cjw/image/30634537. It turned out very nice and I'm excited for him to see it.
My first trip to Africa was as an observer on a hunt with my husband, Jim, and his friend, JustJim (2002 in Namibia). It was such an amazingly wonderful experience and I fell in love with Africa. I didn't know anything about photography and, needless to say, the pictures I took on that trip were very disappointing. I bought some camera gear and took a photography class just to be able to take pictures in Africa. I've been back 3 more times. (In 2003 I met up with Ann in SA and many of the photos from that year are from where she bow hunted.) I blame it all on JustJim. And this website. He sent me here to read up about Africa hunting before that first trip and I've been enjoying it ever since!

BwanahileGents,
Look at the date of the original post, it is over a year old!!!!!!!!!!! I would think that by now the artwork has been procurred or project abandoned! Yikes.

BergerI have just used a Joburg-based artist named Geoff Hunter for several reconstructions in my next book. His work was very good and having seen his portfolio, he is an excellent wildlife artist. He works in oils and his originals are probably as cheap as most good quality prints as he has yet to make a "name" for himself (and they are priced in rands). I'll see if I can get some his pics online.
