Tom and Garry were hunting the same concession we hunted on but in April and it was a mess. They did get stuck multiple times each day. Of course they did shoot a 83 pounder which kind of made it worth it. In August the country was dry and we had no difficulty. We also saw alot more elephants than on Tom's safari but no huge ones.

I actually met Tom at Bonwa Phala. He and a friend were returning from a successful buffalo hunt in the Timbavarti. They got a couple of "Snotters" one with a 16.5" boss.
