Sadly, many TV hunting shows go far beyond what is acceptable, all for publicity.

They have learnt from Hollywood, where facts mean absolutely nothing.

A couple of years ago I emailed one of the "outdoorsman" channels about a hunt they aired.

It took place in Zimbabwe and had illegal written all over it. Never received a response.

Most of the TV hunting shows are poorly done, by armatures, who do not present hunting in the best of light, and paint all hunters with a broad brush giving the impression that all hunters are back woods oafs that should be backed with banjo music.

Then you get these idiots who actually break the game laws to top it off causing this stereotype being assigned to all hunters!
