I have to admit to an utter lack of knowledge about Arab languages. What does Eid Mubarak mean? I suspect it has to do with Ramadan but don't know. Please educate us dummies.

EID means celebration
MUBARAK means congratulation or happy.

Eid Al Fitr is our celebration of the end of our fasting month, Ramadhan. During Ramdhan, we are abstain from food, drink and any other pleasures from just before the break od dawn till sunset.
