Safari Specialty ImportersFriday From the Field: Facts are Stubborn Things
"Facts are stubborn things; and whatever may be our wishes, our inclinations, or the dictates of our passion, they cannot alter the state of facts and evidence." -John Adams
One of my favorite quotes is the spirit of today's post. The below video from Blood Origins provides the facts of the effects produced by the Dande Anti Poaching Unit in Zimbabwe that is solely funded by hunters. Share this the next time someone asks you if it is true that hunting plays a major part in conservation.

lavacaWyatt,
Thanks for that quote. I will use it in closing argument the next time I have a sympathetic case with no liability.

It works well when defending British Redcoats who were involved in the Boston Massacre from a very biased jury. John Adams was the defending solicitor for men who a year later had orders to shoot or hang him on sight.
It was brought back to my mind during the Rittenhouse trial, and I believe it is the backbone of explaining hunting to non-hunters.
