Just wondering what would be expected out of me financially if I decided to book a hunt right at the show?
I know each company may be different but is ther a rule of thumb?

Generally 40% to 50% of the basic daily rate will secure your booking, including dates, price and target species. Be sure to specify this last.

Not sure how its done with the packaged hunts you see advertised, suspect the same kind of %.

A booking one year out will require gereally 40%-50% as JT said. An advanced (2 years ahead) booking can be secured sometimes with a very small deposit. For us we require 25% of the daily fees as an initial down payment. Another 25% is due 365 out and the final balance 90 day from safari start.

Actually you really only need to pay us once you have received and reviewed the contract which might be after the show.
