lavacaSad, but true.
If you want "wild Africa" you need to either hunt rebels, or hunt where you could (or they are hunting you).

By Joseph Lyimo
Fear of lions has gripped the villages of Olasiti in Babati and Mswakini in Monduli Districts after two lions from the Tarangire National Park were recently seen roaming in those villages.
Six lions were killed on January 1st by residents of Olasiti Village for what was purported as warriors proving their manhood. The lions had earlier killed livestock.
During the massacre of the lions five herders were injured and admitted at a hospital but eventually escaped.
Due to fear that the lions might revenge, the villagers have been walking in groups armed with traditional weapons such as sticks, machetes and spears.
Speaking with this reporters, the villagers claimed that the Government does not take sound action when human beings are killed by animals but acts promptly and decisively when animals are killed.
They said when wild animals kill a human being, livestock or destroy crops, there is no statement issued, but after the killing of the lions recently, the Minister for Natural Resources and Tourism, Mr. Lazaro Nyalandu has been issuing threatening statements to herders.
A resident of Olasiti, Mr. Saning’o Ole Nigi said that the communities surrounding the wildlife areas have always been guardians of the animals by preventing poaching.
The Acting Manyara Regional Police Commander, Mr. Christopher Fuime confirmed that five herders were admitted in the Monduli District Hospital after being injured by lions.
He mentioned the victims as Jackson Saipei (30), Obeid Mollel (23), Jackson Mediteki (23), Karani Saimon (30) and Leseilama Tobiko (28) all the residents of Olasiti Village and they were alleged to have ran away for a fear of being arrested due to the offence of killing lions.
