ErikDSheldon,
Nice pics you have there.
How long did it take for the riverbed to become flooded? Flashfloods kill people in africa each year who are foolish enough to make camp
on riverbeds/wadis! I can understand your being a bit tense as the river grew and grew next to your riverside camp, as rivers in africa sometimes unexpectantly change their course.

Die Ou JagterEric, I can't get the pictures up, but I know the camp and the rivers in that area have water in them only one or two days a year, usually in Feb and March. I got the pictures up, when did that flood take place? Did Sara fix the Zebra oysters? If she did I doubt Vaughan tried them.
I told Vaughan to locate his new camp up on the hill above his new well. It would be a beautiful view over the Ombonoe river and not have to worry about high water.

Sheldon CharronThis was in April...
The river started to flow slowly at first, but within about 10 minutes, it came fast and you could actually hear it coming around the bend. I was standing on the river shooting some video when i heard someone yell, "GET THE HELL OFF THE RIVER!" I hauled ass and there it was! WHOOSH!

DB BillDo they shoot the donkeys or just let them run wild?

Sheldon CharronI was not offered to shoot them, so I couldn't tell you. I think they just let them run wild. Various locals were running around with donkey carts, so maybe they domesticate them??

BoatsHunting with Vaugn there was never a dull moment. I hunted with him in May and had a blast. Trying to find the time to get back again. When in April did you go because there had only been two other clients prior to me going?
