I DVR'ed Tracks Across Africa (I know about the lion hunt, but I needed a fix).

Anyway, I'm watching it now and a gal just shot a sable that had the weirdest gait. Like it's front feet or ankles were messed up. Anyone else notice that and know what was wrong with it?

Are you sure that was TAA? I remember seeing that on a Safari Hunters Journal show with Steve Scott. JC

Sorry, you're right. I DVR'ed both and was watching them back to back. It was SHJ.

I saw the same show on Safari Hunters Journal the other day and I was also wondering about that Sable's feet. I thought they looked strange but since I've never hunted them and never looked at the feet of the ones I saw while hunting DG I had no knowledge of what proper sable feet should look like.

I saw that show and thought the same thing, because the other Sable appeared to have "normal" feet like most other antelope.
