.500 bores and airlines
Whats the latest on 500 and larger on airlines? I understand there was a flap about TSA (TIT SUCKING ASSHOLES, IMO)not allowing calibers over .499 on airplanes, in case somebody decided to start a revolution? I have a 2 buff safari coming up this fall in Tanz, and would like to take my 505. any recommendations/
thanks
Take care

Do a topic search. I posted the letter correcting this issue and you should print it and carry it with you.

The only problem with the rules is the TSA, and the airlines don't seem to know them. The rule that must be found, and kept in line with is the rule in the country where you are importing the firearm!

Some one needs to make a sensible mandatory federal rule, and require, without choice, all airlines, and the TSA to adhere to the same rule. coffee

The danger in that idea is the word "SENSABLE"
, a word that is lost on the legislature where firearms are concerned! CRYBABY

Is'nt the rule an IATA rule and not TSA regarding ammo greater than .50?
