Another one of the African PH fraternity departs for the happy hunting grounds.
Rob Duffield died as a result of multiple organ failure after a prolonged battle.
the reason for his demise? the malaria mosquito.
Rob contracted cerebral malaria about 18 months back up in Mozambique, and just never recovered.
He leaves behind his devoted wife Gail, and his son and daughter.

Very sorry to hear this.

Condolences to his family and friends.

And I hope a reminder to all of us who go hunting NOT to skip on our preventive medication.

I know from personal experience that sometimes some of tend to take a blasé attitude towards malaria prevention.

Man! we've lost a lot of the hunters this year! The tiny mosquito is the most dangerous thing in Africa!

My condolences to his family and friends! He can walk the bush free of danger now, ........................R.I.P. CRYBABY
