Any experiences, positive or negative, with the 400 grain .416 Nosler Partitions on buffalo the last couple of seasons? Sort of mulling that over for use in a .416 Rigby. I know, lots of good bullet choices out there and everyone has their favorite, but was curious how this Partition was working in the field.

Mike, I know Mac shot a buf with Noslers and it went right down DRT..
Personally I prefer the TSX... DESTRUCTIVE!!!

i have used the Partitions - they worked very well, but no recovered bullets - they went right through in my 416 Wby fired at 2750 f/s. I too prefer BArnes TSX either 400 or 350 grs in 416, but the Partitions will do the job for sure..

My recent PH does not recommend NOSLER PARTITIONS for Buffalo.
And after the recent post of the failed heavier constructed Swift (but similar design), why would you?
