MacD37Fun for sure, and they are growing fast. The two who are playing the roughest, are definently the domanant ones, and the third one is a little skittish, and shy. Natural order of things wild. Are they all males, or females, or a mix?
I had a friend in New Mexico, back in the late fifties, who had a pair of cheetas, and he hunted jackrabbits, and coyotes, with them on the open range grass lands north of Las Cruses, NM. lots of fun!

SaeedThese are two females, Fluffy and Spotty, and one male, Frizky. He is the slightly larger one.
He is the dominant amongst them, and more rough in his play.
They are like magnets to anyone who comes to play with them. People come in slightly scared, and then do not want to leave.
They are easy to handle right now, but, as they get bigger, I tend to collect a lot more scratces and cuts from their games.

MacD37Beautiful little raskels. Cheetas are one of my all time favorite animals to watch. We have several at Fossel Rim game park at Glen Rose, Texas. Man can those things run!

prof242Since my first learning of cheetahs, I've always wanted one as a pet. Unfortunately costs, until now, were a problem. Now the problem is current laws.
Your pics, etc., really are something.

30ott6Saeed- great video! Do they have an area/pen where they can go outside? If so, how big of an area do you provide them?
John

SaeedThey live in two adjoining rooms - with a door in between, and an air condition. The rooms both ave doors that open to an outside area.
We normally open te door to an very large veranda they like to run around on and play with balls and ropes etc.
They tend to spend most of their time inside chasing eac other or sleeping.
They also come into the house, and I take them down stairs to the shooting range in the basement.
They are very inquisitive, so one has to keep an eye on them all the time they are inside the house.

Mary Hilliard-KruegerSaeed,
Wonderful playtime video! You are very blessed to have the privilege to co-habitate with these magnificent cats. Their trust and respect for you is evident in their behavior. Thank you so much for sharing with us.
Kind regards,

NzouThanks for sharing the video Saeed, three against one...you are out-numbered! Give them a few more months and three against one could be quite a handfull I am sure! They seem very good at playing without digging their claws in, which is always good, very charming little cats.

SaeedFor a bikini, we use just one at about 4 weeks. We might use a larger one for those ladies with an over size rear end.
For a kilt, these three are about the right size.
For a jalabiya, we sometimes use 8 fully grown cheetahs.

jbderunzreally fine pets.

Have You considered to have their dewclaws removed?
Dewclaws catching the cloths (and the flesh underneath) are the only thing one can reproach cheetahs? Males are good at scratching people while mimicking affection.

SaeedAll our cheetahs have their claws intact.
I don't like to have them removed.
I do get scratched abit, but, nothing serious so far.

SaeedPreviously we had two babies, and they lived with us in the kitchen!
We have a very large kitchen/breakfast room, so we partitioned a section of it for them to live in.
When they grew up, we put them outside.
We used to play soccer, and the ball normally never lasts more than a couple of days, as they tear it apart.
One day we were having a really good game, and one of them hooked me with his dew claw. I was bare foot. The claw went into the front of my big toe - just under the toe nail, all the way down to the bone!
I screamed in agony, and fell down. Snoopy, the culprit, stopped and just looked at me wit total amazement.
As if to say "what is the matter with you?"

BigFiveJackCan they be taught to hunt for you
the way hawks, eagles etc. do for their
owners? Are you going to attempt
that? I expect that if you succeed
you would derive immeasurable satisfaction!
