Hey All I just wannted to let you know that I am putting together a hunt giveaway for AR members visiting my booth at DSC/HSC/SCI. Just fill-out the cards and drop them in the box. There will also be a spot to nominate a cash donation ($5, $10, whatever) to go toward the Stu Taylor relief fund. We will give the cash (as well as the cards!) to a responsible party at the end of the SCI show, where we will also draw the winner!!
I set this up primarily to further contribute to the Stu Taylor fund myself and so that AR members get the opportunity to easily donate modest amounts to help Stu as well.
There will also be a second draw for another similar hunt, open to any convention attendees (without the cash donation) ... so AR members can join BOTH prize draws!!
The Prize: This hunt prize is a 4-day hunt (5-nights) for one hunter at Watervalley Game Reserve, South Australia. Included is cottage accommodation, meals, 1x1 guiding, five full days hunting, trophy preparation and transfers to and from Adelaide airport. Also included is the trophy fee for one fallow buck - the largest the hunter can find in the four days. Watervalley Reserve (the largest private hunting reserve in the South Pacific) and surrounding district is widely (OK, arguably!) regarded as the best trophy fallow deer hunting in Australia. Other species may be hunted during the 4-days include rusa deer, red stag, axis deer and sambar stags; all at set trophy fees. Small game may be taken at ammunition cost only - time permiting. Rifle permits and import permits for South Australia are available free, online - so you can bring your own firearm.
Not included: Rifle Hire $110 total, if needed plus ammunition at cost.
Hunt Dates: 1st June through 15th August 2014, 2015.
