A very good video. Ironic though that people we never knew before this video, and who were against hunting at the start, are making a cogent argument for hunting better than most orgs.

Clearly the difference to them was being there are seeing how things were on the ground in Africa. I think this is a huge challenge that in order to understand how it all works, you can't do it from a desk, or from a twitter page. There is a very clear line between the first world (i.e. their 'privilege,' if you will), and developing countries. Looks like that hit them hard once they saw it in real life.

Larry,

Thank you for digging this up. I had watched other clips but this one is much more complete and the best I've seen.

As I mentioned I think the makers of the film deserve a lot of credit for having the intellectual honesty to change their minds when presented the evidence.

Just goes to show what being exposed to fair chase, ethical hunting tjat utlilizes the resource for the benefit of communities and the overall health of the animal can sway opinion of even anti hunters.

A very strong rebuttal against a faction of this forum that says ethics and fair chase cannot change public opinion.

This interview sent a more direct message than the show and I applaud them for stepping up to do this.

Thanks for posting the one thing that they acknowledge is living with the animals and the African prospective drove their view on hunting
All the anti hunters in my town who oppose any hunting were calling for eradication of coyotes due to the danger to their pets they should have to deal with Lions and Elephants

I know the feeling. My next door neighbor is a big animal lover but let the subject turn to coyotes and you should hear what comes out of her mouth. I laugh my ass off. I always think what if they had to deal with lions or crocs.

Nice video. It seems like they actually "get it" and came to understand that hunting is an important part of the equation.

Say and think what you like but I wouldn't trust them or any of their kind as far as I could piss without holding it.

Like any good diplomat playing the part of being politically correct, they can sway you with words that are pleasing to the ears.

It is interesting how quickly peoples opinion/beliefs change when they are actually affected by things.

Phillip is taking a lot of heat on Twitter and instagram. Lots of vile, repulsive comments from these so called compassionate people.

Apologies. Had the names mixed up. Deleted the irrelevant post.

Does anyone have any contact information for the film makers? I want to extend my appreciation for the intellectual honesty the have shown, and make a couple of respectful, and hopefully constructive comments.
If you don’t want to post on a public forum, PM me.
