Joyce has a Facebook page but it has never been adorned with dead animals unless someone on her friend list shared it there, except for the hunt with Aaron.
When Joyce hunted with Aaron Neilson for Pronghorn in Colorado it was the result of a Facebook contest hosted by Aaron. After the hunt Aaron put up a picture of Joyce and he with the Pronghorn on Aaron's FB page. Since she won the hunt on FB Joyce also put up this picture on her page while thanking Aaron.
Today, 10 months later Joyce gets this notice from Facebook.
You will notice in the explanation....
"threats to public safety" ..... so explain to me Facebook why did you not take down the threat to DSC?

Dave FulsonGreat post Frostbit,
Aint it the truth! Bye the way, under intense pressure created by the media exposure DSC helped create, FACEBOOK re-tracted their statement yesterday. A nice little win for what it is worth.

We'll call you tomorrow as planned. Not sure who reported the picture. I'm no FB expert but I did look at the report from FB. Joyce put that picture up on her page and did not "tag" you in it. I think she referred to you as "this guy" something like I hunted Pronghorn with "this guy".
That means someone on her "friends list" would have had to report it. That boggles my mind if true. I wish the report wasn't anonymous.
Cheers
Jim

FrostbitI'm not an outwardly religious guy but do live my spirituality. That said, I wonder if the picture of Joyce with that Pronghorn is "graphic violence" and is taken down then what about a picture of Christ on the cross?
Just saying'
One depicts a clean kill the other torture.

BaxterBSomeone please put up a picture of plastic wrapped chicken legs. Then another person flag it as violent.
I was kicked off FB for using a nom de plume. they are a funny orgainzation. Oh, and Zuckerburg has actually hunted. Look it up/ A few years ago he killed a deer or pig or something because he said if you eat meat you should get it yourself. Can he be banned?

BaxterBZuckerberg kills chicken

Every single fb user should post these pics.

CrazyhorseconsultingOne of things I have noticed over the time I have been on FB, is that having a page is a whole lot similar to a Spider's Web.
You will have friends that view your page and if they see something they like, they can or will share with other people that are friends of theirs, but you may never have heard of these other people.
Stuff gets passed around and ends up getting to folks that it shouldn't, but because it is the internet once someone posts something on FB, they really have little or no control over who sees it.
Lots of folks won't join FB because of that and lots of folks leave FB after joining because of that.

FrostbitThe anti lost in this case!!

That is exactly why I refuse to post on face book. All my four kids, and all my grand children have FB accounts, and I have made them all aware of the fact that they are not to include anything about me on their account.
My ex wife died this year and my daughter went on face book to tell all her friends about her mother's passing and that she was traveling from her home for the funeral and would be back home in a week. When she returned to her home, the house had been broken into, and every thing of value she owned was gone. Not only did they rob her but trashed her home as well.
That got the point across to her, but fell on deaf ears to the rest of the family.
The above is why I have never learned to post pictures from my computer on the internet.
The internet places like FB are a open door to your personal life, and are dangerous!
................................................Just my opinion, others may disagree, and that is their right!
