JagterEland calves
Below some of this year's Eland calves that were born on our family farm near Ellisras.
This farm is a low fence cattle farm and the Eland population is slowly growing after not having been hunted for the last five years.
Suppose that's the reason why the Eland are now staying permanently out of own free will on the property.

GeckoJagter, from what I know you are an out and out biltong hunter (meat collector).
Yet you people withhold yourselves from hunting the Eland on your property.
That is an outstanding example of real conservation - far more so than not to hunt at waterholes as discussed in another threat.
Keep up the good work!
