RobinOLocksleyPermits to Shoot Bushmen and Pygmies
Years ago I stumbled upon a thread on this topic on AR. It was mentioned that once upon a time permits used to be issued to shoot Bushmen and Pygmies.Participants of that thread posted sources and photographs of the permits here. I tried but so far have been unsuccessful in locating that thread. I would appreciate it if you could shed some light on this topic. Thank you.

Sorry, you felt that I was trolling. I wasn't. As you check the link posted by the member above, this topic was discussed here a while ago. I too posted in that thread at that time. I tried my best but could not find a single source that offered evidence that hunting permits to shoot Bushmen were ever issued. Hence the post.

Big Wonderful WyomingThere were no actual permits in Australia to shoot aboriginals in the 1700-1920's. But you could shoot them, and the military carried out shooting raids at least until the 1920s.

stubbleduck47DSC Member....yes, Google camel hunt Australia. I found at least two outfitters offering bow (Or rifle) hunts a couple hours flight from Brisbane.
