Absolutely incredible. This is indeed an outfit I would suggest others steer way clear of. Unless they have somehow reorganized / sold out to new owners, they have an incredibly checkered history. A quick search on this site will find plenty of complaints.

Rich,

Good to see you posting here. Yes, I think you're right. FYI, I saw an ad from them in the latest SCI mag...

How has the hunting been in Ethopia this year? I really enjoy reading your posts and seeing pic.s from ERVS.

FYI, I read in Boddiington on leopard that there is a CITES quota of 500 leopards per year from Ethopia! Also that USFS does not allow importation of leopard trophits from west or east africa (if you don't count Tanzania as east africa I guess).

We take 4 per year. 2 from each of our Bale Mt. Concessions. They are big leopard. The clients are mostly European. I don't know if any of the other outfitters hunt them or not. The big export quota goes largely unused and was originally for confiscated skins. The first batch that went out in the 80's was over 750 skins and over 20% were the melanstic phase.
When the US F & W sent the paperwork in 1977 to allow import of Ethiopian Leopard, the country was in the midst of a Communist Revolution so no one filled out the forms.

What's the story on Out of Africa. I set-up my booth today and they were indeed there. If anyone comes to the convention stop by and say hi, booth #1362. www.littlesportsman.com
