Aspen Hill AdventuresOoA Again - Ganyana?
So I see they are advertising hunts in Zimbabwe. Anyone know what property/concessions they are hunting? Do the Groenewalds have a Zim 'partner'?

SaeedAnyone, who has any remote inkling of ethics, should stay away from dealing with OoA.
There are more than enough decent outfitters and PHs around to support.

Aspen Hill AdventuresJim,
I saw a a half page ad for them in the December 2007 issue of Safari Times, page 9. I am a bit behind in my reading.
If anyone cares they will be in booths 2121,2123,2125 and 2127 in Reno.
Last I heard they did a lot of bait and switch with clients. Booking them to a concession and then actually taking them to hunt on seized ranches, particularly the Gwayi River Valley.

Thanks.
And the last I heard, there was a lawyer or two looking for them as well.

quickshotStay away from these jackasses!!
Dawie Groenewald was kicked out of PHASA for his illegal activities in Zim etc
It is my understanding that OoAAS is still banned from hunting in Zim---has that changed????
SCI needs to stop letting such questionable outfitters display or book hunts at SCI functions------quit letting crooks pray on SCI membership just because they "donate" hunts--

just my opinion--maybe I am wrong---but don't think so. I will certainly stop by their booth and GIVE THEM MY REGARDS

Aspen Hill AdventuresSCI won't cut anyone off until they get convicted of something. OoA pays a lot of advertising though it looks like Theresa is out of the picture.

Mike SmithDue process and all that isnt always what it is crackd up to be.To the best of my knowledge they are still banned. However they have an indiginous partner in Zim and the hunting is done through that company. They only act as booking agents the way I understand it. They were also booking hunts in Tanzania that I would want an awfull lot of info on before I would even consider sticking my feet into the fire.Better to just steer clear.

GanyanaOoA are still banned in Zim. However one of their African Directors was chairman of the Parks Boar. George may still be a local director.
But as law breaks down slowly here, there are ever more illegal operators and there is a huge ammount of illegal hunting with clents particularly in Chizarira National park but also Hwange.
