GAHUNTER
Murder on Safari, by Lowell Douglas
Anybody read this book? I was given a copy of it by the author at his restaurant, The Thorn Tree in Norcross, Georgia the other night and have not started it yet. Just wondering what to expect.

Great restaurant, by the way.

I'm familiar with a book with that title in my library written by Elspeth Huxley. It's about twenty years old and it sorta plodded along. It's fiction and will never be transformed into a screen play and then a movie. like a handful of other fictional Africa books have. It had a contrived plot...

Not familiar with the same titled book from Lowell Douglas

Not familiar with that book, but it reminds me of Hemmingway's short story, The short, happy life of Francis McComber.
