Mariosenegal big game hunting?
some of you have never heard of the hunting area called "la Falémé" in southern Senegal? I'm talking with an outfitter that offers a sort of self guided big game hunt (Buffalo, Roan and more) there. Until now I had only heard of Senegal for birds shooting and warthogs

CaracalThe area is called ZIC Falémé (Zone d'Intérêts Cynégétique de la Falémé) and is close to Niokola Koba National Park. The area is very big (close to 2million hectars) and there are several camps inside. I have not hunted there but talked with people who did. Game numbers are low due to heavy poaching but there is some Buffalo, Roan, western Hartebeest, Bushbuck etc.
You plan to go there sometime soon, Mario?
If so PM me and we talk about it.
Cheers
Dennis

I was stationed at Dexheim, 2mi west of Neirstein/Oppenheim. Lots of Raebuc around the river bottoms. Loaned a fellow my Sako .222mag rifle to shoot a couple. Nearly couldn't get it back.
Wish you well,
