Phinda Rock Lodge
Anyone ever stayed there? If so, what did you think?

There's four lodges at Phinda. I haven't stayed at rock lodge but have stayed at one or two of the others and they're the dog's doo dahs. We loved 'em to bits! tu2

Not cheap though!

I am thinking of taking my (by then)wife in July of next year. Would this place help keep her entertained before we head off to Sun City?

Yup..... she'll love it. Lots of close views of game, esp lions and excellent food and service....... it's a fair way from sun city though.

Larry,
I have stayed there several times, and taken a few clients there.
Rock Lodge is really neat, tucked back into a small rockface, and quite exclusive.
The rangers and food are generally top notch.

Die Ou Jagter
The last two years hunted from a property next to Phinda, and we drove thru Phinda every morning going to an area to hunt Red Duiker and Suni. The property is called Lulabush and it is completely surounded by Phinda. It was great driving thru and passing the open vehicles with watchers and having my gun in plain view. Once one of their rangers tried to flag us down, to no avail. The "viewers" are usually dressed out of the 50's.
