ScottWWhat is on the must see, must do list at SCI Reno?
This will be my first trip to Reno and so that I can make the best use of my two day visit (Thurs/Fri), what do you recommend for a budding safari hunter?
My goals:
1.)To meet and possibly secure deposits on a few PH's/Safari Companies that have been recommended to me by a couple of new AR friends.
2.)To speak with several Agent, bullet and custom rifle vendors to have some some specific questions answered.
3.)God so help me to go back before it's too late...to meet Butch Searcy and other DR company reps to consider buying my first DR/DS.
Any other ideas would be greatly appreciated!

You should have gone for all 4 days, looks like you have a lot to cover!
Tip: Walk and talk fast!!
But for real, I start a list of names and booth numbers weeks before the show, then try to take care of everthing before I start cruising the rest of the show!

SteveScott,
Widowmaker has it right. Make a list of what you know you want to see. Go to those places first. Then take a quick cruise through the whole show. Depending on how long you spent knocking off things on your list, that might leave you enough time to revisit some new discoveries you made on your cruise on Friday afternoon...
Enjoy!!

JungleboyScottW,
One thing I love to do at the show is to
pick up the hunting brochures from the various
PH's/Outfitters. You can spend weeks reading
over them at home, looking at what various areas
& different countries have to offer. I think it
really helps to educate you on what is offered
by one outfitter & not by another, the different
price scales & quality of trophies,...
Plus, it's really cool to just wander around
& look at double rifles & fantastic taxidermy.
Have a great time!
