Just used mine on a Burkina Faso hunt. They're fine in a harness, and optics are outstanding.

Perfect for hunting PG in Namibia/South Africa where you can take some really long shots. Obviously not needed for DG hunts.....

My PH loved my Leica 10x42's so much he contra'ed them for part of my hunt costs.

Once you have used them, you would never go back to separate binos/range finder.
