Agree with quality. To that I would add experience and past client recommendations. Location is a consideration but not necessarily a major factor.

Guy's,

I do appreciate the feed back. I completely over looked the quality aspect because I take for granted that without quality all the others are just mood points. You are spot on that quality is #1, and like many others we strive for that on a daily basis.... Thanks again!

A comprehensive web site is only important from two points. One is basic pricing wich rarely covers anythig but the most basic designs. It does give some and idea of what to expect especially newbies who probably have not done a large amount of taxidermy before. The other and more important is to show off you quality of work as well as uniqueness of design and artistry. Even a well done web site can not often give a true portayal of a complicated piece. It is again a starting point only. This is particulary important for clients out of close proximity to your shop. They will still get a good isea of your work even never having seen it in person. Nothing takes the place of a road trip to see some actuall pieces. Word of mouth and other clients mounts are the best advertising you can have but it is a bit hard to quantify at times. A good list of references across a wide geographic area who would be wiiling to show off their mounts you did is probably the best advertising you can have.
