Three days and my brother, nephew, and I are off for a 14 day hunt with Sandriver Safaris. Thank goodness I listened to you guys and ditched my Remington .375 when it took a dump when it started shooting like a shotgun. The CZ 550 LUX, yes with the "hog back" stock that I love, I bought in a hurry, shoots like a house a fire! Besides shooting running jack rabbits after getting our zeros, I found out the CZ if zero'd 3" high at 100 yards, with with 260 Noslers, all and I mean all the 300 grain bullets I tried are point of aim at 100 yards. I glassed the action in, adjusted the trigger, and typical of CZ's, it's a very accurate rifle. I only had time to put 380 rounds through the rifle, but carrying it during those long, hot desert jack rabbit hunts, then the range time, I have confidence in this beautiful rifle. I'm taking my old push feed .338 Model 70 as a back up rifle.



I'll take lots of pictures and I'll try to post some pictures during the hunt and let you guys know how it's going.



Oh, I went to see my doctor. She's great! She's done volunteer work in Africa so when I told her I was going she was giving me everything she thought I would need in the way of prevention. She handed me the prescriptions and one was for a suppository for nausea and vomitting. I told her no way! I told her the last time she gave me a scrip for suppositorities I ate three of the damn things and for all the good it did me, I might as well shoved 'em up my ass! I wish I'd would have had a camera on her face when she worked her tthought process thru that one.
