ErikDMauser 100 year commemorative rifles? Alf?
I asked about this under the gunsmith section, but it might fit here too:
The "limited edition MAUSER 1898-1998" in cal. 375H&H.
Does anyone have any info on these? As far as I've understood, 100 of these were made in 375H&H and 100 in 416 Rigby. It's built on a mag. square bridge action. The price I was quoted is 3800 Euro.
Any good? What should it go for? It's unused / a "demo/show gun" as far as I've understood, and I'm waiting for some pictures, so I haven't seen it yet. I think these have a flag safety. Would it be sacrilege to change this with a 3 position safety for practical use with a scope? I would naturally keep the flag safety so I could "restore it" to it's original state later if needed.
Any info would be appreciated!
