I have not. I have been away an awful lot. I have not been in contact with Alistair.
Fantastic news. Sango is an incredible place. I shot 4 buff and 2 elephants there last year as well as a 32 inch waterbuck. I could have shot insane amounts of PG. I left at least a week early.

DinoinPVThey got their Arda permits back a little while ago, actually.
Thierry called me this am as well, and he is at Sango now...

safari-lawyerSpecial place, Sango. I reckon I've hunted there as much as anyone, and I could be content hunting there for many more years.

Great News is right! The Save is a very special place with a bunch of great folks that have worked so hard for wildlife.

WILL: Do you know Judge John Bush ? Like you he's an Auburn / Samford grad and is in the 19th District Court of Alabama.

Yes between Sango and Arda lots of quota to move in the next 3 months...good news.
Just wish the remaining ares would get theirs as well.

I do not, but he appears to have a good educational pedigree.

bwanamrmGood news indeed!
On the plains of hesitation lie the bleached bones of ten thousand, who on the dawn of victory lay down their weary heads resting, and there resting, died.
If you can talk with crowds and keep your virtue,
Or walk with Kings - nor lose the common touch...
Yours is the Earth and everything that's in it,
And - which is more - you'll be a Man, my son!

I can confirm that today I picked up the hunting permit for Sango in the Save Conservancy and so we are now clear to hunt there as well as on Mkwasine / Arda where we got the permits a few weeks ago. It has been a difficult couple of years on the Save and it will be a great relief to get back to operating properly again. We will have quite a bit of quota available to sell for this year so if anyone is interested please get in touch. I do believe that some other permits for properties in the Save will come out in the near future as well and hope that everyone can get hunting again soon.
Very best
