You have the opportunity of getting a "once in a lifetime elephant."

All GoneI'm on Atchesons list because i booked a hunt through them once.
I guess WD is reaching out to other B/agents after he lost ACST.
Or he is leasing the area out to other outfits or PHs.
I can see why people don't post on AR. Why be ridiculed and made fun of when your trying to help others??

JudgeGSij has its merits. I'd book a tuskless/fishing trip there in a New York minute with the right P.H., during the right time of the year and for the right daily rate (to include use of a boat) and a reasonable tuskless fee.
I say that because I've done it.
Two years ago, I saw several hundred elephants (and killed a tuskless), shot a good hippo on land and caught 50 or so tigers, one about 4 kilos.)
Would I go there again expecting to kill a 50 lb elephant or a 40" buffalo?... no, but on a tuskless hunt, if a P.H. (again, the right one) threw in a leopard for just the trophy fee (without raising the daily rate), I'd certainly enjoy shooting a few bait impala and see what happened, however, without too great of expectations.
Sijirira can be a wonderful place if you combine it with the right expectations and have the right P.H., at least, in my humble opinion.
For an experience with more PG and lots of buffalo.... leopard, too and still get the Lake Kariba fishing, I'd go to Chete or Omay North, though.
JudgeG ... just counting time 'til I am again finding balm in Gilead chilled out somewhere in the Selous.

All GoneFairgame,
I am probably taking some of the humor the wrong way. Seems that lately i have been an easy target for attack and yes i have brought some of it on myself. OK, maybe all of it.
Judge G,
The sij didn't seem to be a bad place to hunt. It did have lots of ele and good amounts of other game. With that said i have nothing to compare it to. It goes without sayin that i agree about the right PH.
Bill73,
I may go back someday but this hunt drained the savings account and then some. I think that this may have been my one shot at it. Thats ok though, the memories might not be the greatest but at least i got to experience Africa.

fairgameAll Gone,
I was taught in hunting to take the rough with the smooth. When it is rough it can be very rough mate.
If you want to experience Africa again then let me know and if you don't mind getting your hands dirty there is plenty to do during the hunting season even if it is for a couple of weeks.
