Mine arrived today. Looks like several good reads.

Ganyana: "Dangerous game bursting out of the jesse accompanied bt roaring or trumpeting often appear much closer than they are."

Ha! They are too close, regardless.

More anecdotal eveidence of flat nose bullets having greater penetration than round nose bullets, at least if they miss bone.

Good issue.

Is it just me or does the picture of the buff on the cover look a little strange? Is there an abcess under the bulls left eye or is that the ear? Looks weird to me. Enjoyed the articles. Can wait for volume 2, wish I were on the advanced copy distribution list

I'm sorry to see that you lack the insight to understand the humor in NitroX post. Looking back on ones previous mistakes, and laughing about them later, is something everyone should work on. You need to relax and lighten up a bit.

As I may have mentioned to you, it was taken in Swaziland while I was on foot. The cheeky little bugger mock charged me, and stopped only 1.5 - 2 meters away before running back to mommy! Mommy white rhino was about 10-12 meters away, and luckily only calmly observed the situation.

Being close to these rhino on foot (even though they are not as agressive as black rhino) was an interesting and exciting experiance. It got the pulse going a few times too.

We tracked some black rhino while there, but unfortunalty without luck.
