Help Me Find This Buffalo at Cabela's

Sold this shoulder mount to Cabela's in 2007.

I'm trying to get it back.

When you visit a Cabela's PLEASE take a photo(s) if you see a buff that resembles this bull:

> about 40"+
> cracks in the smooth bosses
> a broomed right horn tip.

If the broomed tip wasn't "fixed" it should be easily recognized.

Use Enough Gun

You buying it back? Doesn't appear to be anything special by way of a cape buffalo mount. If it still exists, then it should be fairly easy, as cape buffalo mounts in Cabelas, Sportsman's, Bass Pro Shops that I have been in, seem to be a dime a dozen. If you sold it that long ago, then who knows what has happened to it in thirteen years. Good luck Will.

Trying to buy it back.

It was my son's buffalo and after all this time I get the feeling he thought I shouldn't have sold it for him. So I'm trying to repent for my sin!!

Well, you could take him on another buffalo hunt and then have another bull mounted for him.

There used to be a nice broomed bull like that at the Cabela's in Lehi, Utah. I don't live around there anymore so I can't go check for you. Good luck.

There’s 4 in Omaha & I have pics I can send them if you get me your email address. There’s one that’s a possible but the hide doesn’t look quite the same, but maybe Cabelas doctored it up.
