Does anyone know what happened to Dr. Kevin Robertson's column in Sports Afield? I used to read it first when the magazine arrived. He seems to make a lot of sense in both conservation and ballistics for hunting.

It is a shame as I always liked your articles.

This past summer we were in Northern Sweden, and the water temperature was 8 degrees C!

My daughter was the only one in the water being towed on a tube!!

All her Swedish friends refused to get in because it was so cold.

Our neighbor thought she was mad!!

This situation and all of the Real Estate ads in the magizine is why I didn't renew my subscription a few months ago.

Larry, I understand your objection to the real estate adds! I do as well, but I realize that is the only way a paper magazine can stay afloat today. I just thumb past them and read a fine magazine. The internet has about made magazines and books a thing of the past.
That magazine has improved by leaps and bounds since Diana Rupp took the rains in hand!

Sports Afield, and Safari are the only two mags I still subscribe to today, and both are full of adds, but still are paper and that is my first choice.

.................................................................. coffee I like to read and re-read some of the magazines years down the road. At my age some of those old books and magazines remind me of friends who wrote in those old books and magazines and are no longer with us!

If you took up ice fishing, you would change your opinion entirely.
You would probably give up hunting in Africa as well....
