.WE just came home from a great hunt in Rifa with the Mullers of Pro-Saf Safaries.com in Zim. We collected tuskless elephant and hippo. The whole experience was the highlight of my 8 trips to Africa. The whole experience was first class. The camp the food and the hunt. Staff were great and equipment was in good order for a smooth well run operation. We collected the hippo on the 8th day and the elephant on the 9th, We also had to shoot a cow in self defense that charged and when shot dropped 4 steps in front of us. A very exciting 20 seconds I'll remember for the rest of my life. Even Alzimers couldn't rob me of this one. A great trip.

My partner and I will be hunting with Pro Safaris next year. What did you see in the way of buffalo and did it take you the whole nine days to find the tuskless? You said the camp was nice, was it "wife nice" of just nice?

Louis and his family run a top notch outfit and the Rifa camp is fantastic. Waking to the sounds of local fishermen and hippos in the river is hard to beat. Rifa is one of the best areas in Zim, I would not hesitate to go again or send clients there.

I've only had a handful of clients with Pro but they have all been very happy. Rifa is one of the premier areas in Zim and anyone who is going there should have a really good hunt. The camp is definitely "wife nice" as someone asked.
