Licensed as a PH in Tanzania?
How does one find out if a person is a licensed PH in TZ?

Contact information for government agencies or associations would be appreciated.

Simple "google" searches don't readily turn up much info. Some phone numbers etc seem to be "dead ends" just ring when called with no answer....

Remember the time difference. You may be calling a business office which closes at 5 PM.

30ott6 contact for TPHA is a good start. Unfortunately, it is not compulsory to be a member of TPHA as a licensed PH in Tanzania, which means that they won't have a full list; just that of TPHA members.

The license issuing office should have a comprehensive list but that is within the Wildlife Division and I doubt they would even bother looking up a name to see if he/she is licensed or not Cool

TAHOA (Outfitters association) might be able to help too. Secretary General, Mr. Mohamed Abdulkadil; email: alm@cats-net.com or cell number +255-784-474 840 remember the time difference if you call thumb

Addenda:
I highly recommend that one uses a TPHA licensed PH in the first place.

Remember that although this is a good place to start much more research is required. Way too many suitcase ph's in Tanz, not that it is necesarrily a reflection on the ph. Make sure you know who actually controlls the concession you want to hunt as well.
