I am going on my first and maybe last buffalo hunt in Zimbabwe this August. I have six days with Martin Pieters.
What would you consider a respectable bull for me?
I will shoot some plains game as well, but this is primarily a buff hunt.

JudgeGYou can trust Martin and company to not let you shoot something of which you won't be proud. I've killed big-bossed 36 inch bulls that I worked hard for and 40+ bulls that I wouldn't shoot today because they weren't yet at their true potential (and perhaps a wee bit soft... dang, I can't believe I admitted that).
Just go and enjoy!

Tim HeraldI have never hunted the Omay...so no personal experience, but I do know Russell killed my favorite buff that I have seen in a trophy photo.. with Marty in the Omay...so, expect a good one and the possibility of a great one is there. You are in good hands with MPS...

Thanks Tim! He was a spectacular buffalo and I could spend the next 20 years hunting buff and not top him...
The Omay produces both quality and quantity! Martin has brought it a long way and it will only get better under his management.

Dr. Mike H.Why go for only 6 days its a long plane ride for a short hunting trip. Book more days and enjoy the country and the continent. you never know when you will be back again so do it right the first time.
