Between this and the hyenas killing that small giraffe, one must wonder: what have the giraffes done to deserve this?

In zoos, mixed species enclosures sometimes don't work out.

At Fort Worth there was an exhibit where lions and cheetahs were displayed in separate enclosures that had an enclosure built over the top of them that held Aoudad.

Occasionally an Aoudad would get too close to the edge and fall in with the lions, with the obvious outcome.

One day however one of the bigger rams fell in with the Cheetahs. The ram was not injured and ran down into the moat and the Cheetahs decided they would have a go at the ram, which turned into the Cheetahs trying to melt themselves down and trying to get thru the door and into their off exhibit holding area!
