mbogo375Very nicely done. I wish that I had the talent to do some of my stockwork as well (ummmm, actually I have done a good bit, but I don't have the patience to really do the oil finish properly, and checkering is not for me----guess that I am a senior member of the instant gratification generation

).
Nice rifle.

fla3006Here's another transformed CZ I pictured on the Gunsmith forum awhile back (a ZKK-601). Same stock, reshaped, haven't checkered it yet.
"Before" (bottom rifle)

"After"

fla3006Billy, did your gunsmith in Refugio turn that blank? Will it be a CZ550? Like that contrasting straight grain on a big bore.

Gringo CazadorFla3006,
I would have never guessed that was factory wood. The hogback stock on my 416 looks like a cheap 2x4. That came out really nice.
I've posted this pic before, here is stock I'm doing on my 416, I have the bottom metal inletted but havent had time to do any more.
I can't checker either. But some day I would like to learn.
