We're going to be "gifted" with a health care plan we are forced to purchase and fined if we don't, Which purportedly covers at least ten million more people, without adding a single new doctor, but provides for 16,000 new IRS agents, written by a committee whose chairman says he doesn't understand it, passed by a Congress that didn't read it but exempted themselves from it, and signed by a President, with funding administered by a treasury chief who didn't pay his taxes, for which we'll be taxed for four years before any benefits take effect, by a government which has already bankrupted Social Security and Medicare, all to be overseen by a surgeon general who is obese, and financed by a country that's broke!!!!! I went to Zim in June 2004. It took over a year to get my trophies back.

I hunted July-05 and my raw trophies arrived in NY mid Jan-06, so about 6-months. Buzz Charlton uses a fellow PH, Andy Hunter, for the dip/pack, and I can highly recommend them both.

Before booking, I would ask the outfitter (agent) what their average shipping time was last season, and veirfy w/a few references.

As with Bill C and many others, N'gagi and I both used Andy Hunter as well. He is very efficient and gets it done quickly. I would suggest using Andy if possible.

I hunted Zimbabwe last April. The trophys were shipped with Taxidermy enterprises of Bulawayo. I have just recieved confirmation that the trophies are in transport, and should be here in about a week. It seemed like an awfully long time to wait for me but maybe this is typical. So i would say 9 or 10 Months.

in 6 trips into zim it varied from 6 months to a bit over a year. somewhat depends on what you shoot. most stuff doesn't give any trouble, but babos, warthogs things like that can slow the process down. cities animals slow it down even more.

Jim,

Things go slow in Africa. My Buffalo took 1 yr. 3 mo. too arrive in the states and when I did get a notice that they were being sent to the shipper, that process took 6 mo. I used Taxidermy Enterprises, they stayed in constant contact with me and the workmanship was fine. They just have no sense of urgency in Africa........Bob

I hunted Zimbabwe with HHk in July 05. My trophies included a leopard, warthog, bushpig, Sable and some other stuff and it took a little less than six months. Stuff from Tanzania took a year plus. South Africa was almost two years but that was finished taxidermy .
