That was interesting. The larger bull closest to the truck was buckling the knees of the smaller one every time he got hit. One of those hits would crush a person.

It almost looked like they were smearing part of the video to cover up damage?

Absolutely fantastic! Thank you so much for posting this clip. I wonder how often this actually happens out there? I have witnessed a bit of low key giraffe argy bargy, but never anything close to this intense.

A friend in Namibia came upon a big black bull with one horn broke completely off. He had his hunter shoot the bull and a close examination showed that the skull broke away with the horn exposing the Dura mater . The wound was full of maggots and the drainage was collecting in the cavity created. The giraffe was blind in the eye on the side the horn was broke off. Killing it was doing it a favor as it was not long for this world anyway.

Those suckers fight for keeps.

There is one with a broken horn that hangs out near Sango Ranch (in Save). He looks healthy enough.

Very cool video! I've seen giraffes necking/fighting a couple of times but never like that. Those guys are serious.
